Suite à l’annonce par la direction de Radio-Canada sur la divulgation obligatoire du statut vaccinal des employés de la Société d’État, le Syndicat des travailleuses et des travailleurs de Radio-Canada (STTRC) recommande à ses membres de répondre à la déclaration de vaccination. Le syndicat estime que le refus de répondre à ce questionnaire pourrait exposer des membres à des sanctions.

Par ailleurs, le STTRC a déjà interpellé l’employeur pour obtenir des éclaircissements à propos de ses intentions. Nous cherchons à savoir s’il y aura des conséquences sur le lien d’emploi et/ou sur la rémunération. Nous voulons aussi obtenir davantage d’informations sur la gestion que fera Radio-Canada de ces informations confidentielles. Pour le moment, le syndicat n’a pas obtenu de réponses claires à ces sujets.

Entre-temps, le syndicat va continuer à suivre de près la situation et va interpeller l’employeur à l’occasion de nos rencontres hebdomadaires.

STTRC’s position
on Disclosure of Immunization Status

Following the announcement by the management of Radio-Canada on the mandatory disclosure of the vaccination status of employees of the Crown Corporation, the Syndicat des travailleuses et des travailleurs de Radio-Canada (STTRC) recommends that its members respond to the vaccination declaration. The union believes that refusing to answer this questionnaire could expose members to sanctions.

In addition, the STTRC has already called on the employer to obtain clarification about its intentions. We are trying to find out if there will be any consequences on the employment relationship and / or on the remuneration. We also want to obtain more information on how Radio-Canada will manage this confidential information. For the moment, the union has not obtained clear answers to these matters.

In the meantime, the union will continue to monitor the situation closely and will call on the employer during our weekly meetings.
